surgery went great!

in on wednesday, out by noon on saturday! it was a second surgery so maybe that's why it was so easy. have a very slight facial weakness that no one can see but me. resting now at home and enjoying visitors.
diagnosed feb. 6, 2009

new york eye and ear / st vincent's
dr. linstrom and dr. murali
ssd, no tears

translab may 5, 2010
nyu medical center
dr. lalwani and dr. parker

doing great!

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

You'll never believe it, but I've been corresponding with your mom on Twitter and on her blog about you!  It is good to hear that you are doing so well this time - hopefully your recovery will be smooth and uneventful.

Left AN 2.5CM,retrosigmoid 11/2008, second surgery to repair CSF leak. 
Headaches began immediately.  Dr. Ducic occipital nerve resection, December 2011!!!!!

Congratulations on a smooth and successful surgery!

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

debbi- glad to hear you contacted my mom, she's my favorite. i think it is harder on my family sometimes than on me!

Glad to hear everything went well!

Thanks for sharing pics, I'm always curious about everyone else's MRIs and scars.

Eat some ice cream, I'm convinced it helps heal things faster!
Right ear, 3.5 cm  Diagnosed 3-23-10 pre-op symptoms: 90% loss of hearing, headaches, Tinnitus.
Translab surgery 5-18-10
Post-op symptoms: SSD, Tinnitus, wonky-head
BAHA implant: 9-2-10
