Upper body workout this morning. It's easy to stop by the gym when one of the kids has an early morning activity. Other days not so much. Lots of early morning bb for Elbee this summer, fortunately.

Didn't get up early today (well, actually woke up early, was awake for an hour and then went back to sleep since no early swim today!) and so it was too hot when finally got up & around!!  Addi and I just got back - walk and ran a tiny bit (too close to late dinner) - MUCH COOLER at night!!

Proud of myself for going!!

still walking with my pup ... she is doing good on the leash ... still growing at an alarming rate , gaining about a pound
every 3 days  :o ....she goes back for next shots next week ...gonna ask doctor for advice on stunting her growth  >:D ...
not really ... if she gets big enough I can get her a cart and make her pull me around  ;D

we have Relay on Saturday Night ... then Day Camp diet begins Monday ... I always lose a little the week of Day Camp ....
I am no where near being ready for either Day Camp or Relay ... we have had VBS since Saturday ... tonight is last night ...
that gives me two days to finish cutting out stuff and packing group boxes and counting snacks ... that is a lot of snacks I have
5 days of snacks for 60 people sitting in my living room ...  :o ... I did follow the state approved snack list they use at school ...

lets get ready to go chase 19 4 and 5 years olds around VBS ...

I'm with you, Cindy, can't seem to stay on the exercise wagon.

I have my good days, this week it was Saturday, Tuesday, and today, but then I find a million excuses not to keep going.  It's a hard habit to break  ::)

And the dumb thing is, I feel so good when I exercise.  I just need to make it a priority.

been up since dawn making pop-can tab bracelets to sell at Relay tomorrow ... have sold $200 worth already ... have made $50 worth this morning ... want to have another $50 worth done by tomorrow night ... me and my Girl Scouts made chokers out of bottle tops ... put a circle of scrap booking paper in for a liner then added puffy stickers of animals , birds , flowers , pink breast cancer ribbons and a bit of ultra fine glitter ... pour epoxy resin over design and put a magnet on the back... the choker is a nylon band like we used to make pot holders on with on a loom... you put a washer on the choker and the bottle tops stick to the washer ... this way you can change your necklace by putting a new magnet on the washer ...we are figuring $4 each seeing it takes 50c to make one .... these things sell for $8-12 at the jewelry store ... have $200 worth made up ... hope we sell them all . wee need to to make our team goal ...

enough of that ... I have not been walking much last couple days other than puppy strolls around yard ... hoping to walk at least 5 miles at relay tomorrow between manning our booth ... and hoping my girls will walk twice that before the night is over... my feet are dreading it ...wish us all luck @ Relay ...

Five for five this week. I'm pooped.

Soundy, your bracelets and chokers sound like a great fundraising project. Best wishes for your event.

Hope your Mom is feeling OK K ...

Relay went good ...about 3 this morning I was having fun ... by 6 not so much ...came home , showered went right back to church on a bet I wouldn't make it and the one that bet me stayed home in bed snoring ...

small tornado came through about 2 hours before Relay was set to start ... it didn't touch down but there was enough wind that it took out about a dozen set ups ...people cleared their rubble and re-set their camp sites and Relay went on ... I was at home getting ready to leave to go set up so missed it ... it cleared off and we had a good night weather wise

walked 3 miles so didn't make my 5 but that is OK ... feet think they did 10 ... we finally got home around 2 and I have to be back at park to set up for Day Camp in an hour ... slept about 2 hours , got up and loaded truck with help of husband ... he is off feeding ... I am gonna leave my snoozing girls here ...they are wiped out ...

lets go pretend we are excited about Day Camp ...

Home from Cincinnati and learned a lot and most important I met several people from the Forum.   I had a surgery in 1988 that they cut my vocal cord, so I haven't been able to do running since then but I walk.   I met two really great docs, wait   even more from Cincinatti and House.   Dr. Niparko was there but I don't think he remembered me.   I made sure he said hello when he was looking for his seat on the plane back to Baltimore.    I told someone from Massachusetts on Friday night that I had few regrets, but one of them was not going to House to have Dr Friedman do my surgery.   I'm sure things would have turned out better.   The next Symposium will be in 2013 out in LA hosted by House.   Hoping to see more of you there!
