I'mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Back
« on: June 27, 2009, 01:04:52 pm »
Surgery was on Monday and they tell me it went very well.  I was originally scheduled to come home on Friday, but I was able to come back on Thursday!!!!  I had them put the Baha in while they were there and now I am wondering if I should have, especially each time I look in the mirror. Still very dizzy and late yesterday was the first time I was able to actually stay awake and focused for more than an hour.  The headaches are killer, but the dizzyness and nausea are not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

HOWEVER, the wee little bugger is now gone, gone, gone and now I feel as if we can move on with our lives.

Brian .....

So glad your surgery is over and you apparently have done extremely well.  Success stories are what we like to hear!! (no pun intended!)  I hope your wife is doing well after her surgery, as well.

Thoughts and prayers.

Good going, Brian. Take it easy for a while. I bet you end up liking the BAHA, even if it looks odd to have a post mounted in your head at the moment. Hope you feel better with each passing day and week.

Brian -

good to see you back already.  Wishing you a very smooth recovery.

I didn't have my BAHA implant at the time of my AN surgery, but I love my BAHA.  I think you will too.  They are amazing!

Best,

Welcome back, Brian.  Congratulations on a successful surgery!  Now, rest and let your body recover from this trauma.  I trust you'll be much better, soon.  :)

I don't remember seeing the ANA Discussion Forum when I was going through my surgery and recovery in 1990.  This is absolutely GREAT!!!

I don't remember seeing the Internet back in 1990!

This forum dates back to about 2005. Before that, there was a list server that send emails of every posting to every member. Before that was the Dark Ages. :)

Welcome to the forum.
