eye weight removal

What is the time frame to have another weight put back in I have had mine out for three weeks, it closes at night so far with lots of ointment but doesn't blink all the way.  Have to use lots of drops or ointment during the day, still turns red sometimes.  Am getting frustrated all I do is putt drops in and wipe my eye i.  Any dieas?  Karen

Hey Karen:   I know the docs I deal with like to wait at least a few months before operating on the same area.
They want to make sure the skin/tissue is fully healed.
Let your doc know your eye is getting red - may be it's still too dry -
do you use an eye bubble or plastic wrap taped around your eye at night to build a moisture chamber ?
I do it every night.

I know its a pain to put lubricant in so often, but it must be done to protect your cornea.
Do you have feeling on the AN eye ? - do you feel it burning when it gets dry ?

are you using lacri-lube ? if you use something with perservatives it will make your eye red,at least thats what i went through.
