Thanks Jim,
Your explanation is crystal clear.  Where is your neuroma, an the acoustic nerve or facial nerve?  Mine is on the facial nerve and as of Jan 8th it was 1cm x5 mm.  I'm waiting to have another MRI and to get a 2nd opinion.  I hope I'm a candidate for FSR.  Surgical remove of the facial nerve and a nerve graft is pretty frightening.
