Has anyone supplemented with iodine?

I started following an iodine protocol about 2 weeks ago and I've noticed some nice improvements, like pain reduction and the tinitus has declined.  My hearing has improved a bit as well, although I have not been tested since, but that is my opinion.  Lot's of info on iodine helping with other tumors, so i am trying.  Anyone???
