Reading latest posts and replying to them
« on: July 19, 2013, 07:15:30 pm »
Hi;
   Ever notice how in the main forum, the posts don't follow the thread? They are out of order.

nftwoed ~

How are they out of order?  Posts are listed by date with the newest at the top.

If there is an issue with the posts we want to know exactly what it is so that it can be corrected.  However, message content is solely at the discretion of the member posting.  If they chose to veer off topic we try to correct that and we will enforce the posting rules but we don't attempt to micro-manage message content.

Please send me (or any other moderator) a PM with details regarding the lack of order you refer to so it can be investigated.  Thanks.

Jim

Hi;
   Just wondering if anyone else who reads, "Latest Posts On The Forum", and replies to them there from "Home", finds their post in order in the topic thread, or, not at all?

Just an FYI.....When I get on the forum, I always click on show unread posts since last visit.  If I reply to any of the posts, my response has always shown up in the correct order so I have not had a problem with this.

Thanks Pam;
   I'll be checking the message thread after posting at "Most Recent Posts" for a while.
   Sara; I don't think there's a settin for this?
   It could all be in me wee bitty, dizzy head!
   Jim, I have hit, "report to moderator 3 xs and another woman, some times. Neither of us received replies, so, I'm unsure about the link, or, if a moderator(s) doesn't like me?!   ;)  Maybe you receive a large no. of PMs?

Reports to a moderator go to my e-mail, which I check often during the day.  I've never received a report from you.  There could be a fault with the link.  I'll have it checked.

Meanwhile, I suggest following Pam Fraley's advice and use the 'show unread posts' link.  This is what I always use - with no continuity issues - ever.
