I got a copy of my MRI
« on: September 15, 2010, 06:10:35 am »
I got a copy of all my MRIs and reports yesterday.  I've read on this forum about people who have these.  Thought it was more complicated to get/view than it turned out to be.

We could see online how the docs measured the AN, etc.  We could pretty much see for ourselves that the thing didn't change between January diagnosis and June three months post-CK.

After seeing the "thing" myself, I was very thankful I decided to do something about it.  It didn't take a radiologist to see the AN is right up against my brainstem.  It looked a lot bigger in the MRI (compared to surrounding structures) than I thought it would.

I take the copies next week to a neuro-otologist, who I hope can provide a better consultation regarding my problems with balance, vision, etc.
Rt. side 14mm x 11mm near brain stem
Severe higher frequency hearing loss
I use a hearing aid (Dot 20 by Resound)
