I'm almost 4 months post retrosigmoid. I've been going to balance therapy since my release from the hospital. I went from being a fall-risk, wheelchair user to walker to 4-point cane to now nothing (walking in the house without anything). I've come a long way but still can't walk well or drive yet, and I don't walk outside of the house without hanging onto my husband or whoever is escorting me. What other people can do without thinking, I still can't quite do. My right side reflexes are delayed and I'm very uncoordinated. My left side is still a little numb from the fingertips to the toes. I've posted on that before. These post surgery problems aren't new and I've informed the neurosurgeon about those things. The new symptom is that the reflex, coordination, and response from my right hand and leg seem to be getting worse not better. I try to do the simplest action with my right hand and it doesn't cooperate. It seems the signal isn't getting from my brain to the right side of my body in a timely manner. I don't know what's going on. My right hand seems to have a will of its own, which is frustrating because I thought I was improving. I feel really heavy-headed as well, almost foggy, in addition to the increasing uncoordination. If this gets worse, I'll have to tell my neurosurgeon. Has this happened to anyone else?
