Cathy's Update Part II
« on: August 26, 2008, 07:26:12 am »
Hi everyone,
Its Tara again. Mom got to go home Monday around noon-only 4 days in the hospital! She's doing great and we were even joking around with the nurse Sunday evening at the hospital.  Headaches and nausea are her symptoms that won't seem to go away (I'm assuming thats normal for that type of surgery).  Everyone in the family has been visiting her and staying with her and we are doing fine.
Thank you for all of your support and prayers!
Tara

Tara,
Thanks for letting us know your mom is home and doing pretty well.  I'm sure she is happy to be there.  Headaches and nausea are normal but I hope they stop soon.

Thanks for the update!  I agree that those things are normal and should pass fairly quickly.  If you are ever concered about anything, call the doctor that did the surgery and he should be able to help.  Healing takes some time so be patient with your mom during this time.  I'm glad she's home and the healing process has begun for her.  Keep us posted.
