Hey Nancy,
I definitely see a little upturn on your ANside smile.  The tone in your cheeks and around you eye looks more lively too.  (Canyou tell I'm a speech pathologist?)  Can't wait to see more updates.  As for exercises, Helga and I got into a fairly risque conversation about getting muscle tone back following surgery.  If anything, the suggestions will get you laughing...

Love hearing from you and seeing you,

Molly
Diagnosed 3/09 1.1cm tumor - 4/17/09 - had grown to 1.2
Age 61 - married with three adult kids
MidFossa surgery completed June 22nd
Mass General/Mass Eye and Ear - Martuza and McKenna
The tumor has grown back.  Now working with Mass General.  Dr. Loeffler feels I am not a candidate for proton beam.

You look super great Nancy!  Loving the new hair!  You must be so pleased with the progress!!  It's great you're documenting it - it's easy to think nothing's changing otherwise.  Once you look at pics you think, hey I'm doing really well!!

Yay you!

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

That's a sore point up here in New England.  We've decided not to have summer.  Cold and wet.  But the boats are ready to go, and I'm going to make Dave go out with me one early morning this week as the weather forecast is improving.  Where's Ernie when you need him?!

I remember when I was terrified I would lose my smile (It's a distraction from all my flaws.).  It's baaaaaaack!

Nancy, the weather in the midwest isn't any better.       I have wore shorts once and haven't even got some of the summer clothes out.      There is an occ night with winter pjs too.            I had a garage sale this past Sat and sat with a heavier fleece coat on.                 Today is some better.
Super to hear about the smile.                     We knew it would come back sooner than you thought, you just didn't think so!

Faaaaaaabulous pictures darling!!!  I think you need to change your signature from "Almost rocked it" to "totally rocked it!"... besides it's all in the attitude as to whether you rocked it or not... the actual after effects are insignificant - if you feel you rocked it, then you rocked it.
