Thanks, Steve.

Love the picture of Kentucky - nice view.

Steve, I got the same pics, but wasn't 100% sure how to put them on like you did.   Want to say thanks for tagging the names/screen names of them all because there were 3 I didn't recognize  :)

As for Mei Mei, I got an email from her today that had a link to pictures, but it was some 3rd party site asking for my cell phone number.  So I didn't do that and sent her another email to let her know.  Poor girl is trying to get us those pics, but something isn't panning out too easy  :(

Thanks, Denise

Hello all, I just now finally for the first time read this thread...it sounds like you all had fun.  LA in 2013 sounds definitely doable for me (I live next state over!) so hopefully I'll get to go and meet you all there! Would love to put a face to the names.  I also did a self imposed sabbatical from this forum like Jan did, mainly because I just came back from a week in Hawaii! (too bad it's so expensive, definitely a good place to hold a symposium! :)  Mei Mei, glad to finally see what you look like! lol  Hope you all are having a wonderful summer, take care!

Phyl.    Your pic isn't crappy!    Shows you in the middle of a conversation!   Remember, you weren't helpful in letting me get a good one at the banquet.    There's a couple that could be good blackmail material!     LOL!                        Cheryl R

Steve ~

Thanks for posting the symposium photos.  I wasn't able to attend so I appreciate seeing the pictures of some of my forum friends and be able to put a face to a name.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Thanks to everyone for posting the pictures.  But you all can notice that I am still dealing with some facial paralysis from the parotid gland tumor surgery.  With the AN, I had a little and it was back to normal in a month and a half.  I am now at 8 weeks with this one and it is slow going. (The AN surgery was easier!)  I have to remind myself that I had 2 major surgeries 5 months apart (both from schwannoma cells) and that my face went through a lot with this latest one.  The tumor was beneath the facial nerve and sticky, making it a difficult surgery.  The facial nerve was left intact, so it should heal. At my check-up last week, the doctor thought I might be a little further along, but it does take some of us longer.  So, I'm trying to be patient and giving it to God.  Seeing as I did not get to Jackie Diels session at the symposium, I'm going to send for the cd of the session.  Thanks for listening to my rattling along.  Sometimes we need people who have been through similar things to listen to us vent some.

Here are three more, and they are from Mei Mei! One is from what seems to have been a popular photo opportunity, but the shot is slightly different.

Phyl and Dave (I think it is Dave).

I could be wrong, but I think the "someone" is Lauren (ombrerose).

No that's not Lauren.  That's  the woman that lives in N. Andover, Mass.   She wrote to me.   I am going to see her and Phyll next Sunday, hopefully.   Lauren lives in NYC.   I'll see them on the 16th in the NY meeting.
