Here goes another try at the pics I've already posted on Facebook.   Getting Pics on the Forum requires a PhD.   In the next upgrade to the website they have to make this more user friendly.   i can't even post my own pic on here.

OK, I give up, I tried but it's not working.

Yeah Mei Mei, I am with you on this site not being very user friendly....when it comes to photos anyways!!!   I swear it took me FOREVER to get my profile pic on here and not have it be huge.    I am pretty sure you have to add the pics through photobucket.  Is that what you tried?   Like you upload them to your photobucket account, then somehow post them on here.

Maybe Clarice has a good description since she at least got one on here  ;D

Good luck with the Flip thing!!

Thanks, Denise.   Didn't know you have to take an extra step to put them on photobucket.   I have never been able to upload my picture to my Profile either.   Just can't spend anymore time on this as my neck hurts after a few minutes on the computer.

Yes, (thanks to Phyl for reminding me!) you do have to upload the picture(s) to your Photobucket account and then insert the link from there to the image here.  Not sure you can do videos on here.  You may have to provide a link here to go outside of the Forum for that.

Certainly not the expert on all this!   :o

Mei Mei -

send a PM to Steve (sgerrard).  Maybe he can help; he's good with tech stuff like this.

Jan
Retrosig 5/31/07 Drs. Battista & Kazan (Hinsdale, Illinois)
Left AN 3.0 cm (1.5 cm @ diagnosis 6 wks prior) SSD. BAHA implant 3/4/08 (Dr. Battista) Divino 6/4/08  BP100 4/2010 BAHA 5 8/2015

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

Here are instructions that I believe were originally posted by Jan. Maybe a new thread could be posted as a sticky to keep them at the top of the page. This seems to come up fairly often, and it's not an intuitive process.

Open an account (free) at www.photobucket.com and upload your picture/s from your hard drive.  To update your Profile picture:

Once your picture is uploaded to Photobucket, click on the link below your photo that says "HTML Code" and right click to copy
Open your profile in the forum and click on the link on the left side that says "Forum Profile Information"
Click on the button that says "I have my own photo"
Right click to paste the HTML code link where indicated on the profile page

That should work.

If you want to embed a photo into a posting on your thread, you open the photo in PhotoBucket and copy and paste the "IMG Code" right into the posting.

???  OMG,  I am still struggling.   Would you believe that I used to work in Computers at MIT and NIH and I can't handle the ANA website.   I had anxiety over the weekend.   Am going to Boston next week with my laptop in tow for help with this website.   Even taking my Flip camera that I won in Cinn.   Dr. Tew asked me several times for pics.

I promise they are coming.    Want to visit my house in Chevy Chase and help me with this ANA website?   Pretty Please?

How about just downloading the pix to one of the free online sites then just post a link for us see. I am a computer dummy but it worked for me. That flip camera is supposed to be very easy to use. Plug it in and let er rip.
