ear infection update

hi quick update on prolonged ear infection.had 4 hours surgery thursday they have cleaned out all the infection,polps etc removed the ear drum + hearing bones and closed up the ear canal completely.have stitches out next week hopefully no more surgery thx 4 listening steve :)
4 cm acc neuroma 99.9% removed queen elizabeth hospital 6 sept 09 by dr walsh.thought it was trigeminal neuralga,lots of facial pain for 18mths,now deaf on rh side little taste and ear pressure.13 hour surgery.

Thanks for offering the update on your recent ear surgery.  Doesn't sound like much fun but worth it if the problems cease.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Wow that sounds like a lot of surgery, hope you are feeling well and most of all hope that infection is gone...gone.. Best wishes
