Sue ......

Good that the little bugger is staying stable.  It may be that way forever!  Thoughts and prayers that it stays that way for at least another year.

Sue ~

Great news! Thanks for the update.  May you continue to have similar MRI results in the years to come.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Hi from a 9-year W&W.  Don't we love the words, "uneventful", and as I was told about my recent mammogram, "continue on a boring once a year schedule" (7-year breast cancer survivor too)!!!
Sheryl
9th cranial nerve schwannoma - like an acoustic neuroma on another nerve. Have recently been told it could be acoustic neuroma. Only 7 mm of growth in 18 years. With no symptoms. Continuing W&W

I like uneventful, always nerve wracking before the yearly but when they say see you in another year it is like a new lease on life for awhile, congrats

Thank you, Rivergirl!  Yes, always nerve-wracking before, then a 'reprieve' afterwards.

My AN has not grown in the past year.  My question is:  Will it ever start growing again?  Thanks for any comments.

Hi TELiner!

I am sorry to learn you have joined this 'exclusive' club...but WELCOME!
I don't know the statistics for regrowth, but it does happen - I believe it is pretty rare, but I know someone will chime in and clarify the specifics for you.

Please keep us posted on your progress.
We care and we are here for you.

Sincerely,
Sue
