Terrific, great news!

Glad to hear it went well, you sound good for someone doing a 12 hour surgery 4 days ago.

I hope it is never again indeed.

I, too, hope it is never again.

There's no place like home and I'm so glad to hear that you are now there  :)

Hearing that the doctors are very please with your outcome and that they got 90% of the tumor, is very positive news!  Four days in the hospital after such a long surgery is also very positive.  My surgery was only 7 1/2 hours and I didn't get to go home until the morning of day #6.

Best wishes for a continued recovery.  Please keep up posted - and get some rest  :)

Onceagain,

I guess you get tougher the second time around - Steve's right - you do sound like you're doing well after such a long surgery.

Let's hope your new name can be "Neveragain".

Congratulations!  Welcome to the "postie" world.  Get plenty of rest and let everyone wait on you.  That was a long surgery and there is an equation about how many weeks of rest you need for each hour and I don't remember what it is!  You sound great though.

Hi, onceagain:

Thanks for posting.  I just wanted to add my congratulations for your successful surgery.  I trust you'll recover rapidly and remain permanently AN-free.

Onceagaub-

And a big congrats from NJ - sounds like a successful sugery. Now, for the recovery!  Hopefully yoru novacaine tonge will subside quickly - or at least not interfere with your ability to eat.  I find that chocolate helps...   ;)

Be well, and rest.

Quick update,
I am feeling stronger and stronger as time goes by.  I know that i have to be very carefull not to overdo.  I am resting very comefortably at night.  Novocain mouth is not to much of a problem at this time.  I am able and eager to eat without any difficulty.  Dry eye seems to be worse in morning but if I use drops it clears up and doesn't bother me too much during the day.  I think that I should use drops before I go to bed.. I'll keep updating as to my recovery

oncegain -

thanks for the quick update.  It sounds like you are doing very well - especially after such a long surgery.  Just the resting very comfortably at night impresses me; it took me many months to do that and I'm still not back to sleeping soundly.  The ability and eagerness to eat also sounds very positive.

All in all it sounds like you are doing great.  I hope your recovery continues to go so well.
