Packing day . . . final chores and errands.  Tomorrow afternoon Dave and I will drive to Brookline (suburb of Boston and my old neighborhood) to have a relaxing evening with friends.  Early to bed to prepare for one of those famous cab rides into the very hub of Beantown for our romantic getaway.  I, for one, plan to spend the whole vacation in my pajamas!

Hey, I just previewed this and sorry for the huge photo, but the left side of my face actually looks weaker than the right, so maybe I'll come out even after the face lift!  Yes, that's snow in the background.

That's the face of someone ready to rock their surgery!  Rock it Nancy!
Right sided AN 2.7cm at last MRI.  Hearing loss/facial numbness.  Translab scheduled March 11th 2009.  Translab at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia successful!  Total tumour removed, SSD, no facial issues, numbness has left the building, balance issues but they'll get better and I'm loving life!

Great picture Nancy! And love your cute four-footed friend too  ;)

Don't forget the Botox that comes with the lipo and the face lift. My sister pointed that out to me just a few days prior to surgery (she was totally kidding). I will say the facial weakness/paralysis does help with those pesky lines in the forehead and around the mouth.  ;D

Hang in there, you'll do just fine! Good thoughts and prayers heading your way!

Nancy,

You look marvelous, absolutely marvelous! :)

I'm so jealous that you have snow.  Doubt I'll get to see much here in Tampa :).

Nice picture, Nancy. Nice scarf, too.  ;)

Hey Nancy,
You look great.  Well rested and happy.  Do you get to bring your dog with you?   ;D I think dogs are very therapeutic.

I'll be thinking of you in the next few days with prayers abounding and fingers crossed.  I know it will be hugely successful and your recovery will be quick.

I am messaging you as well as I have another question for you.  Take good care.

What lines?!  ;D  As you can see, I was/am a sunworshipper, major downhill skiing at a time when there was no such thing as sunscreen.

Hi Nancy,
Great picture! Is that your garden in the background? I love the woods and the pond.
I'll be praying for you and your husband.
Looking forward to meeting you both as well!

I know, just kidding, but I'm very proud of my weathered old face.  It's had a ton of fun in the great out of doors.

Good luck Nancy!    I'll get to do the same thing next week.   BTW, that's a very cool shot of your buddy with the pipes.   I was going to start bagpipe lessons this winter with the local Order of Hibernians, but a  little medical issue "popped up", if you know what I mean.     Right now, I'm not sure what screaching bagpipes would feel like on my remaining good ear anyways!!

Best wishes, and I hope you have a speedy and very successful recovery!

Steve
