WOW!  That's impressive to use your Blackberry right after surgery!  Sorry about the headache, but probably rather predictable given the circumstances.  Hope that subsides quickly.

I'll just assume my positive vibes a few hours ago did their job!

Prayers continue .....

Hi, Deb ~

Congratulations on completing the surgery and kudos to you for being so diligent in posting to us.  Now, please rest as needed.  We aren't going anywhere.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Well, I see the Capt stole the BB from Dr Love!  Here to give the update as well.

Deb's thryoid offiicially has a new home in the Path Dept.  Dr. Love called me earlier to let me know that they took it along with some accompanying lymph nodes.  Still unsure about potential of radio treatments but I know the Capt will keep us posted.

Then, got a 2nd call around 6pm EST.... Dr Love letting me know she was somewhat awake.... so, when she posted here from her BB, I'm actually impressed that she didn't throw in colorful language and blame it on the meds! ;)  He handed her the phone and I told her to "nod" if she comprehended anything I said.  She nodded... I saw it, I really did! :)  So, told her EVERYONE was in pirate mode, in pirate gear and cheering her on, sending smoochies and healing hugglez. She "nodded" that she comprehended what I shared... and I heard a very faint voice say good bye to me... :) :) :)

Told her/Dr Love I'll phone tomorrow to check on her. Rumor has it they are looking to kick her out of sick bay Friday am.

Deb.... if you are checking here again, high as a kite...... ready?  GO REST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  SMOOCHIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
