Where can I go for help?

Thanks Raydean, thanks Palace. I have just spoken to someone from the Jewish family Services. She can't help me. She can get me someone to work for me for money but no volunteers. I also spoke to a reverend sister from St. Vincent de Paul, she said she is just too far from me to get me help where she is physically located. I just wanted contacts in my area from her. I will call social services. I can't believe that it is this difficult to get help when you are disabled like I am now. I am not in Newark NJ but somewhere close by.

I think 55 is the age for a senior to join the Senior C. groups that have those places to meet, eat, etc.  Perhaps calling them and asking questions might help.  You are getting close to that age and they might at least give you some ideas.  It sounds like you may have to relocate.
