Eyeglasses

I am 12 days post middle fossa surgery. My biggest issue is not being able to wear my eyeglasses. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If the problem is the arm of your glasses hitting your scar, you can remove the arm on one side. I wore my glasses with only arm for a couple weeks after my surgery!
Diagnosed Dec 2012: AN 1.4 cm with mild hearing loss and tinnitus. Surgery: Middle Fossa at House with Schwartz/Friedman on April 10, 2013. Entire tumor removed, no facial issues, no balance issues, and they preserved my hearing!! Co-leader of the Washington, DC ANA support group since 2016.

Could you take off the eye glass arm? Or use a "Croakies" brand band?

From Amazon: Croakies (Two highly adjustable molded devices attach on tough Terra cords for an endless range of adjustment in length. Short length 18 long, extended length 33 long. Tite End for medium width temples. MAX for large to X-large width temple. Washable.)

You may not want to ruin your good glasses but maybe try one of these options on an old pair.
