Hey, who's chef du jour?  BEANS again!  YUK!  Where's my ear plugs so I can stop up me nostrils.  I'm going aloft and claiming the crows nest for the duration of rotton stench on deck.  Let's hang a "lewie" and take a heading for Cocos Keeling (a real pirates paradise) where there's real treasure buried before we come about for the Baja.  SHAKE A LEG CAPTAIN!

Without a 'puter on board the Goode Ship Princess Batty Wench, and with no access to Google Earth, Laz realizes that whilst he is gripped in the clutches of this monstrous bird, he does have a really good view of the seascape below him.  Between his screams of fury and fear, he takes out his Blackberry and is able to enter in the coordinates to the Baja coast that he can spot on the horzon, since the bird has flown to dizzying heights. Laz also has found that if he yanks on the great birds feathers, the bird will move in the direction that he wants and thus, Laz has figured out how to guide the bird back to the ship and the wailing wenches and scallywags, whose screams (especially Cap't Deb's...wow she can really yell!)he can faintly hear on the prevailing winds.

WHAT WILL LAZ DO??? (take it away, Larry!)

We were once fun and merry,
Then the bird, he got Larry,
Now he's just a speck in the sky,
Will we ever see this guy?

Laz hangs from giant claws,
Which does give us pause,
Can we sail on without him?
Chances are: none to slim!

Ahh, Cheryl aka Matti Wench, ye is a good and kind woman to say such nice things about my limited talent in the art of poetry!  As it's all in fun, I don't mind putting a few silly verses  out there to help entertain the crew on our sloooooow voyage around the world.   :)

I've got my mouth all set for a marguerita so, I do hope we can make landfall before we get sidetracked again.

But, it's all up to Laz, our lad from OZ and his wild and wicked imagination.

Seems that one eared monster bird was on a mission to pick up Laz, and was sent by a singing mermaid who saw Laz on board ship one day and decided she wanted to meet him. Capt Deb, we should rescue Laz maybe? He's been gone so long methinks he's having the time of his life and may never come baaaaack?????? without your help?

Methinks we have two longboats ter launch!  One after Master Laz and one after Miss Pattiyootee-wench who MUST be really wrinkly by now! Someone prepare the flatiron to smoothe her back into shape!

Laz I am sure has been bewitched by a certain Starship Enterprise Ship's Counselor--Deanna Troy herself!!!!!!  He's been moonin' over her for months, ever since the Puget Bay Chocolate Tanker Disaster.  I think she sent Bluebeard's Bluebird (say it three times fast) to pluck him offa the deck o' the PBW!!!!!

Is he a kidnappee or a willing hostage?  Will he return to us or choose outer space?  Do he still luv us or not?

Oh woe is us if we don't get him back!

I'm sending out the following crew after Laz:

1. The grogmeister (of course! Laz must be pretty thirsty by now!)
2. Matti-wench--head chef (second only to drinking, Laz likes eating)
3. Batty and her box of toys (third only to the above two--Laz enjoys being "tickled.")
4. Arushi--cuz I know she knows her navigation and can get 'em all back home.

NOW-- Go forth and conquer!!!!

(Yootee, you'l have to swim part way cuz all you get is Pearly Girly in the Girly Whirly dinghy thingy!!!  It be yer punishment for being AWOL!!!!!!)
