Kris is in L.A
« on: May 11, 2010, 04:09:47 pm »
Kris and her Mom Kim arrived in L.A this morning. I picked them up and took them to their hotel. Nancy is going to see them this afternoon and take them grocery shopping. Thursday either David or Mike will take Kris to O.B appointment. So far we have everything covered and hopefully they can just relax and enjoy the great L.A weather.

glad she is being taken care of ... this journey can be scary as is ... but add in pregnancy and being away from your home and it has got to be compounded ...

keep us updated and give her some hugs

This is what makes this forum so great!  What a joy you are to be able to help them during this unbelievably stressful time.

Thanks so much to all of you.

Best thoughts and prayers.

Fortunately I had family in LA to take me to my appointments at House and cart me around the area when I had my surgery out there 7 years ago.  What a wonderful thing this online community is, that people can be so helpful to other newbies during such a frightening time as a way of giving back. Keep it up you LA Angels!

I think that what Lainie, Nancy and David do is just amazing and proves my deep belief that only the very nicest, most generous people get acoustic neuromas.  You Aners out in LA are really awesome.

LA Angels is right!  How amazing that you are able to help someone you really don't even know.  You guys are great.  What a comfort it must be to them to know they have people looking out for them.

Don't forget - we like to see pictures!!

Team LA is amazing!  How can I ever thank them for their kindness and generous spirit!?!?!    I am  amazed and humbled and hope that someday I will be able to provide/give back some kind of support to future ANers...not that I wish this on anyone!

Nancy or hubby will be updating soon...baby is being delivered tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Here we go!  So excited to meet our little boy!

Also, so happy with my surgeons!  My mind is at ease that I am where I need to be!

Best,

Kris, I'm so glad you posted as I had not run into your story until this thread and was able to go back and read your earlier posts to catch up.

My prayers are with you that everything goes well both in childbirth and your AN surgery.
