You'll find a lot of very caring people here and also a lot of very good information.

Have you contacted the ANA yet about sending you literature about ANs?  I highly recommend their brochures.

Right 3cm AN diagnosed 1/2007.  Translab resection 2/20/07 by Dr. David Kaylie and Dr. Karl Hampf at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.  R side deafness, facial nerve paralysis.  Tarsorraphy and tear duct cauterization 5/2007.  BAHA implant 11/8/07. 7-12 nerve jump 9/26/08.

Welcome Usugar1!  I am from Texas also (Houston).  I'm still considered a "newbie" having only started on this forum less than 1 month ago.  I can attest that you will find very many nice, caring and helpful people here.  They are willing and able to answer MANY of the questions you undoubtedly have right now.  We've all been where you are (some more removed than others).
