"Holy Tornado!"  What is this forum coming to?  I think I'll leave and go have another surgery.  (out the door, now!)  No, not a gender change.........having shoulder surgery this morning.

My AN ear might have ear-drum surgery when I go to the ENT, next Wednesday.  It still is totally plugged with pressure.

I hope this post finds all of you in good humor.  (my last post being able to type anything for awhile; maybe I can talk my husband to write all of you once in awhile)

Cheers,

Good to know you're safe and sound Palace!

Take your time to recover from that, and typing (even one handed) is NOT a way to start recovery!  ;D

Thanks for letting us all know!

Ciao, Lorenzo

Palace,
You're in my thoughts and prayers.  You do a good job of left handed typing!

;)  #21 down now and see it is a PJ couple of days, in the rain.  I needed a vacation here at The Peaceful Palace.

Someday, I'll write what happened, yesterday. It was interesting.  Twenty one surgeries logged and I hope that is the last.

This is an awesome pack.  I still see scarves, hats and more.  (AN clothing line)  I used to paint and sell clothing years ago.

Hummmmmmmmmm!

Off to feed dogs and rest,

Hi Palace!

Sounds like you had a scare. You're going through so much. I had a bad reaction to morphine when I was in the hospital. It put me in a coma. The doctors were very concerned - said they'd never seen anything like it before. They were giving me a drug called "Narcan" or something to pull me out of it. And all that went on for my shunt surgeries before they even removed the tumor a month later.

Hey, there's a street off of our street a block down called "Palace Drive" here in Florida!

 Hope you're feeling better.......Paul

Right-handed, left side AN.

Judging by the responses given, I don't see any real correlation between your primary hand use and what side your tumor is on.  I also think that gender is irrelevant, but who knows?
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
