Patty ~

I'm happy to add my good luck wish as you travel to the Mayo Clinic.  I also endorse your desire to be tumor-free, soon.   :)

You may allready know by the time you read this,But you are going to a very well organized and run place. I remember not sleeping the night before my tests and meet and great with Dr's Link and Neff. But soon realized that I was in good hands. My LAST visit was in January,so atleast you'll have son warmer weather for travel.  My surgury whent well and thet begged me into staying 2 extra days after just because I lived farther away, in Friday out Wednesday morn. I have been visiting this site on and off during and before my now recovery and I just feel that maybe me writing something that might help you in you new adventure to find some peace of mind. I'm sure they're going to give you percentages and numbers odds if you will. Please remember to take only one day at a time and STAY POSITIVE, because you'll be ok..

God bless you

Patty,  Hi!   Hope you are having great appts at the Mayo Clinic and getting the information you need and answers to all your questions!
I know from experience that no one in my local town would have been able to deal with an AN diagnosis - i am grateful to live within 2 hours of 2 major medical centers in VA, with the option to go to several more within 4 hours!
All my thoughts and prayers to you as you travel on this journey.

Hello all my fellow an's
I am at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. Everything is going okay so far. I can't remember who on here first did this, but I have a webpage on Thestatus.com. It's a great way to keep my family and friends up-to-date on me without making all those phone calls. Please feel free to check on me anytime. Also, thanks for all the support.

Patty -

thanks for mentioning your status page.

Congrats on getting through the tube of gloom (MRI).

It sounds like your visit has been - and will continue to be - very productive.

Best of luck today.
