« on: September 13, 2010, 04:11:36 pm »
LAST WEEK:

Capt. Deb (Captain Deb) we’re glad you received encouraging news from your new ENT surgeon in Charlotte on Thursday 9/9, and that she will be able to straighten out what the first surgeon messed up.  It seems you made the right decision by going to Charlotte.  Please keep us posted on your up coming surgery.

THIS WEEK:

Wednesday 9/14 Scott (TR4guy) is having translab surgery.

Also on Wednesday 9/14 Susan (sloxana) is having AN surgery.

Thursday 9/15 Kathleen Anna (kathleen anna) is scheduled for translab surgery.

Also on Thursday (Funnydream) is also having AN surgery.

Scott, Susan, Kathleen Anna, and Funnydream you will all be in our thoughts and prayers for successful and uncomplicated surgeries this week, and we hope that your recoveries go smoothly as well.

We continue to hold Donnalynn, (donnalynn) her husband Jim, and their daughter Vanessa in our thoughts and prayers, as well as Soundy (Soundy) her dad, and brother.  Jim and Soundy’s dad remain in very serious condition.

For those who are recovering, we hope each day shines a little brighter.

Have a nice week everyone,

Rich & Scarlett ~

Thanks so much for the timely, informative update.  Your kind words of encouragement to all of the folks undergoing surgery as well as to Deb and Donnalynn cannot be improved upon so I 'll simply add, 'amen'.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Cap'n - Good luck on this new journey through hospitaldom.  Your surgeon sounds like a gem.  I'm confident she will give you the best care and get you back in your pretty shoes in no time.
Surgery patients - Take advantage of being the center of attention and advocate for your needs.  Most of all, be sure to take plenty of steroids!!!
Donnalynn and Soundy - Keep up your strength to get through these tough times.  Wishing all the best.  Nancy
