So glad you are on the other side of this!  All should recover in time.  Things are still improving for me at 9+months so I have taken "slow and steady" very seriously.  Take care of yourself and don't fret--you will get better.

Hi Mary Beth,
Glad to see you are home and doing the best that you can do having had brain surgery!
Great advice from everyone, and Keri's week by week was I'm sure very beneficial.
It's just one day at a time, with frequent rest periods. Your body will tell you what you can do.
Give it 6 weeks. I enjoyed books/CD's/music on tape. I walked, rested, ate, rested, ate, walked.
Your face will come along as things settle down in there.
You really are doing great!
