Bern's MRI Update
« on: January 26, 2009, 01:47:15 pm »
Thank you all for your support.  My AN has not grown. It is only 1 cm.  No swelling or necrosis.  Told me hearing will be gone for good.  BAHA again was recommended.  I was so happy the i went tanning and was over the speed limit when the po po pulled me over and hit with 109.00 speeding tickent. I smiled and said it is ok, my brain tumor is not growing.

I know yesterday I was anxious and scared.  Today I feel great and not psycho.  Thank you all for your continued support.

I don't have to go back for 6 months.

I love that you are all here for me.

Bern,

Great news!  I'm sorry about the ticket!   :-[

But good news about your MRI seems worth the $100!

Next time you decide to celebrate - have someone else drive!

Bern,      I am thrilled about your MRI!               I was really worried that the worry you had was making you in really bad shape!            It is nerve wracking when you don't know how it is going to all come out.            I go by that, It is all one day at a time.
Your kids at school when try to tease and scare you, just tease them right back.     Kids know when they can scare someone.              I have a special ed daughter teacher.
I am very happy for you!                   Cheryl R

Yahoo!  Congrats on the MRI news.  Bummer about the ticket, but I think I would have been smiling to the po po too with that news!  Now we can all just look back and laugh about it.  Crooked smiles and all!  At least you weren't pulled over for weaving in traffic.. ;)

Great news, Bern.  I'm surprised that you still got a ticket--"my tumor has not grown"--is not an excuse they hear everyday.  Tonight--eat dessert first!

Hi Bern,
Congratulations on getting such a great report on your MRI today!   I'm so glad you're feeling better now that this MRI is behind you.  Hopefully the next one will show necrosis.   I understand your need for speed -- sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do -- sorry about the ticket though.  I agree with Cheryl -- when the kids tease you at school give it right back -- they need to see they can't intimidate or walk all over you.  If you do it with a bit of humor that might be even better.

Best wishes,
Wendy

Excellent. I would go to court on the ticket - not to get out of it, just to plead guilty and then regale the judge with the story of your AN and your GK and your MRI. I'm sure the judge would be fascinated.  ::)

Bern -

this is INCREDIBLE NEWS!!  ;D

I think I'm probably about as happy as you are to hear that your AN isn't growing.

News like this makes the ticket seem trivial - and I'm with Steve, go to court and tell the judge your story.  You may just save $109.  It's definitely worth a try!
