Very brief update!
« on: April 17, 2009, 11:42:51 am »
I am CRUSHED that I wrote out a long (under my current circumstances!) post updating my situation...hit "post"...got up to pee...came back...it was gone.  (I'm a UNIX/Linux programmer of 20+ years, so I have a TAD BIT of experience and know it wasn't "user error.")  I just can't even try to replicate it right now so here's the extremely brief version: I'm home!  I hadn't expected seven days in the hospital, but it's all good.  Special thanks to the lovely Nancy for posting updates and for visiting. :)  More later, folks...

Hi Jo!

Great to hear from you, and of course, sorry about your long post.  I seem to recall someone else recently having that difficulty.

Hope you are feeling well, and I know you are glad to be back home!  Will keep sending my prayers for continued recovery,

Hi, Jo!

I'm pleased to learn that you're home and doing well - except for your computer 'losing' your long post.  I've 'lost' posts in the past and it is very frustrating!  Seems like such a waste - and it's hard to find the time and energy to rewrite an entire long message - so we don't, and in this case, you don't have to....your brief post says it all.  Welcome back!  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Note to Keri -

it's on another thread.   Apparently Steve solved the mystery and DLM means Dead Like Me.  Some type of TV show according to Pooter.
