Neal's One Year Post Surgery MRI Results
« on: February 11, 2010, 09:45:07 am »
I just got off the phone with my Neurologist and the results of my one year post surgery MRI are: no sign of tumor regrowth! AND any scar tissue that appeared on my last MRI (3 months post surgery) has decreased. Yippee!

I am at work so I can't drink now but a glass of some red wine is in order for tonight.  I don't know why but I was nervous about this MRI, now I feel like dancing around the office.

Here I go...

Neal
Diagnosed 12/16/2008
AN 2.4 X 2.0 X 1.6 CM
surgery performed on 1/27/2009 Mt. Sinai Hospital, NYC

Good news Neal.  I always feel nervous each year starting about one week prior to my annual check-up.  See you in May.

Congrats Neal. I know how you feel....I was the same way on my first annual MRI post surgery. When I have my one glass of red wine tonight, I'll raise it in your honor.

Awesome news, Neal!  I felt the same way after my first post-op MRI at one year..  It's almost time for me to start sweating bullets on my second.  I hope to join ya in that celebration come May..

Neal ~

Nothing much left to add except my personal congratulations on your 'clean' 1-year MRI report!  Enjoy the wine.  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
