Had some snow here in Vancouver, USA, but it isn't going to stick down on the valley floor - just above 500 feet.

Sue

The snow pretty much bypassed the 500 feet.  I'm pretty near sea level and we have snow!!!!  and it's sticking!!!
Watch out Patti, our splenda  is headed your way!!!!!

I know of this sleepy little island in the Grenadines called Bequia (pronounced BEK-wee) which would be a good place to sail to--also an even sleepier little island called Carriacou. Here's the plan:

1. Get up in the mornin'
2. Dive over the side
3. Eat a little breakfast
4. Dive over the side,
5. Get your snorklin' gear out,
6. Dive over the side and do a little fishy watchin.
7. Come back and eat a little lunch.
8. Take a nap, get up
9. Dive over the side.
10. Row ashore to the dinky little beach bar for happy hour.
11. Row back to the boat
12. Dive over the side.
13. Eat a little dinner,
14. Row back to the beach bar
15. Dance the skin off your feet to the scratchy band.
16. Row back to the boat and fall into yer bunk.
17. Repeat as necessary.

Sound good?

I LOVE the Grenadines....I thought it was gorgeous there.  We went to this little cay to snorkel...have no idea where it was in the scheme of things...but a big black cloud blew over and pelted us with grape sized raindrops....that was the coolest thing, watching it rain from under water.  Saw my first stingray there.  Beautiful.  I'm all for it!!!

Under the guidence of Captain Super parrot, the good ship PBW sets sail fer da Grenadines. The twirling dinghy girly whirly thingy is sorta following but is a confused beast.

The ship is travelling at break neck speed (1knot per hour) ccoz all da wenches filled da galley with Tim Tams and all da rum barrels be full. Chris wench is riding shotgun with her feather duster over the tim tams whilst our resident grogmeisters are guarding the barrels with their lives.

An interesting journey lay ahead with wide, white sand beaches slope gently
into azure blue, warm water, full of exotic fish and healthy coral.

Where nature is the only attraction.
Where the famous TradeWind Breeeeezes
...... caress your face
..... natural air conditioning.
Where you Snorkel right off the sandy beach.
Where you Hike winding paths.

oh boy, that sounds just the trick - picture the white sand, the surf, the rum, the.... well , oh sh..  I have to get back to work@! what a downer!

Stay tuned, will the wenches be skinny dippin? will the scalleys hgo topless? will everyone drown coz they be full of tim tams and rum and other girly drinks?

Pay structure on the good ship PBW is very straight forward. All staff are a percentage of the Captains wage. the Captain is the highest paid coz she's a parrot and parrots rule!

Captain's pay - 3 dry crackers a month (self funded)
Other staff pay is based on the Captains pay less 3 crackers per month times 75%. That applies to everyone so there are no disgruntled employees complaining about unfair wage breaks between jobs.

I am soooo ready for this cruise. Will let my boss know I am taking a bit of time off work. Have the feather duster ready. Patti, I only snorkelled off the barrier reef so I can't help you with your question about scuba diving. Skinny dipping, nah, will leave that to the young uns. I don't swim so let me know when you are in port and I will meet you.

What just a darn minute here!!  Aren't we still swimming to Hawaii?  Did we ever even get to Hawaii?   What the heck has Laz been doing whilst we wenches have been tirelessly swimming in the deep blue Pacific waters?  Now we don't even get a rest on the lovely black sand beaches of Hawai'i ne?  Not that I don't want to return to the West Indies, mind you....but gads I'm really tired of swimming.  Somebody better haul me aboard that darn ship, hand me a towel, and a nice mai tai, and lead me to the chez lounge so's I can catch me breath.  Laz, you son of a motherless dog, GET US TO HAWAII!!!

Hey Brendalu Wench - I think you were already assigned two very important jobs...Keeper of the "Good Morning book" and our resident speed reading teacher

I agree Sue! I took a little break from swimming to Hawaii to have me a little turkey and stuffing and next thing I see we are in the West Indies ???

I believe Laz is still under the spell of the Italian talk show hostess and is not thinking too clearly ;)

The scalleys notice something strange on deck. The parrot is showing strange signs. Trying to steer the ship with no wings have alerted the scalleys and after a meeting round the rum barrel, which turned into a slurring conversation, they decided that the parrot needed relieving.

Led by the puterologist with his flash drive in one hand and rum bottle in the other, approached the Captain and duly challenged the parrot to come clean. Squarks a flyin everywhere. WE BIN PARROTJACKED slurs the puterologist.

In an instant, the good ship PBW is spun 180 degrees (not difficult to get into dizzy spins) and hightails back to the crystal blue seas of hawaii to pick up the wrinkled wenches. (I'm sure we picked em up before but they are sso troublesome, they probablky fell overboard again).

Stay tuned - will their be anything left of the wrinkled wenches? who was the parrot imposter? can the scalleys steer the ship back ter hawaii?
