Three months post-op picture
« on: September 03, 2008, 11:18:02 am »

Yesterday was my three month post-op anniversary. Today is my birthday. I figured out how to post pictures. I may make a series of my favorite eyewear. Stay tuned.

Happy Birthday Sara!  Today is my Mom's birthday too!

And happy 3 month anniversary as well.  I think you look fantastic.  Much better than I do, and I'm much further along than you are.  I might add, that if you learned how to post pictures in 3 months time, you're also ahead of me in that respect!   :D

Have a big slice of cake!  Enjoy your day!

My 12-year-old daughter and I were just talking about my face today, how she is used to the way it looks and doesn't think much of it. I mentioned that I had taught myself not to smile big because that looks really goofy. Believe it or not she had not seen my lopsided grin, so I showed her. She started brainstorming on ways I could work it into a really awesome Halloween costume. Kids are great.

Sara:

Happy Birthday!

Thanks for the photo, too.  You look just fine and the fact that your daughter wants to "work your lopsided grin' into a Halloween costume" is really a testament to the casual resilience of kids.  As you succinctly put it:  kids are great!  :)

Happy Birthday, Sara.  I think your 3 month picture looks great.  Can't even notice your eye weight.  Sounds like you have a great daughter, too.

Thanks for all the happy thoughts. It was a pretty good day for being cold and rainy. Jan, I do remember turning 30 about a million years ago.

Sara

I'm jumping on this thread a little late -- so belated happy birthday.  You look great.  If I can find a picture of me 4 months post, I'll take a stab at posting it.  I did it once but Phyl had to turn some dials and push buttons to make it work.  But you are way ahead of where I was.  Congratulations.

Sara, I'm really late jumping on here - but belated Happy Birthday!

And, I think you look great!  In fact, I don't see any "droopiness" at all in this picture.  I notice (only because I recognize it) that your mouth pull slightly to the non-an side - mine still does that, too.  No one else would notice, though.  Thanks for posting this!
