Asha had surgery this morning
« on: June 03, 2008, 03:59:35 pm »
I had word that she is staying the standard overnight in ICU and will be in a regular room tomrrow.  She is fine...told her hubby, 'I want to sleep'... :D  How many of us said that?

Thanks, Boppie:

This is great news.  I'm very happy for Asha.  Her desire to do little but sleep, post-op, is absolutely normal.  Let's hope that her recovery goes smoothly without any real complications.  I'll look forward to any further updates.  Thanks again for this one.  :)

K -

don't feel bad, Boppie actually PM'd me earlier to tell me how Asha was doing.  I was still wrapped up in wishing Mary well and with wondering how Trish is doing.  But at my age, you can't remember everything   ;)

I'll PM you the address.

Yeah, I'm wondering about Trish also.

But I don't know if Fabian has anyone to help him out while Trish is in the hospital.  I think Trish mentioned her mother but I don't know when she arrives.

I'd imagine just taking care of Cali and finding time to be with Trish isn't all that easy, plus who knows what his work situation is.  He probably has his hands full.

Finding time to post a message to us might just not be a high priority.  I'm sure we'll hear something in a few days.

In the meantime, I guess we'll just have to be patient.  Too bad I'm not very good at that   ::)

Okay.. not entirely true, but I've had a rough week and am not even sure what state I'm in at the moment...never mind what the date is....ugh...

Lori -

you have had a rough week  :(  Hope things get better.

Anne Marie -

hopefully we'll hear from Fabian before Thursday, but if not maybe your doc can shed a little light on the situation.  He probably won't be able to tell you much though, due to patient confidentiality.

Boppie, I'm glad to hear that Asha's surgery went well. It is great that you and the others who sent cards are paying such close attention to her.

Lori, I hope you are feeling better after a sad week, condolences on your loss.

On the Trish story: it occurs to me that maybe Fabian doesn't know how to post, or got some part of the sequence wrong, or the password wrong, or something. I don't think he posted here before, right? Maybe he is not much of a computer guy.

Good point.  Trish said he'd update us, but I don't recall if she said she showed him how to post.

Thanks Steve.  I appreciate it.

And I thought all guys were computer guys?  Isn't that built right into the Y chromosome - along with hogging the remote control and being able to work the barbeque grill?

Hi Boppie,

Thanks for the update, I have talked to Asha several times and she seems like such a nice lady. If you talk to her or her husband, let her know that I am praying for her and hope that she has a speedy recovery! Thanks again,  Ann

Asha does seem like a very nice lady - very sweet - and she has a great attitude.

I hope she's doing well.  I'll drop her a note tomorrow.
