My turn Wednesday the 15th

Well looks like all systems are go for Wednesday! Dr Barker & Dr Lee at MGH. Expecting nice weather here in Boston, the Bruins will be winning Lord Stanley's Cup and I will have a new hole in my head!  :D

Diagnosed Dec 21, 2010, 1.75 x 1.75cm plan is for retrosigmoid removal scheduled for June 15th at MGH by Dr Barker & Dr Lee. Putting off so I may enjoy my sons senior year varsity hockey, lacrosse seasons and graduation. That and our annual trip to Cancun in May.

Good luck!  Many thoughts and prayers will go with you on Wednesday.  You have excellent doctors and MGH is a fine facility.  I'm sure you'll do great.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Good luck Bill.  One thing I forgot to mention in my PM earlier.  Tell the anesthesiologist to be careful where he places the grounding pad so you don't end up with second degree burns like I did.  His face will probably turn white. >:D  My facial paralysis has mostly cleared up, and I just went back to work yesterday and shocked everyone by staying a full day.  I'm sure you'll do just as good as I did. I'll be praying for you....and the Bruins.

He probably sits behind the net during his son's lacrosse games and got hit in the head with a shot that went wide.   ;D  That's why I park several rows back and sit in the stands at my son's games.  My son's a goalie and has deformed shins from taking shots.  His doctor warned him that he'll have stress fractures if he doesn't start wearing pads.

Too bad you'll have bad news about those Bruins when you wake up - I hope that's all the pain you'll have!

Diagnosed with 21x16x16 mm AN in December 2010.  No change in June 2011 nor in January 2012.  No major symptoms - tinnitus, some fullness in left ear but no hearing loss or other symptoms.
Firmly in the W&W camp for now.

Thinking about you Boston Bill.....hope you had a good experience at Mass General as I did......the post op sucked but each day got better.   Wishing you a speedy recovery.
