Phonak Copilot
« on: May 02, 2016, 08:55:18 pm »
I have just ordered a Phonak Copilot-it is a device that I will have hanging around my neck, it communicates via blue-tooth with my phone, and it also communicates with my hearing aids. The phone can be up to 25' away and with the help of this device I do not have to hold the phone up to my ear, when a call comes in, I hear a tone in my hearing aids and I then press a button on the Compilot, I then can have a conversation with the person, by hearing the person directly in my hearing aids and talking normally through the device. Once I am done I press the same button and I can hang up the call.

It's a ComPilot, not a Copilot.  ;D

I've had mine for a year now.

I got it originally for use with the TV-Link so the TV audio gets directed right to my hearing aids.

I also have it paired to my cell phone.

Take a look at this link so you can become familiar with the product by the time it arrives.

PS: Phonak has a wireless ComPilot available. Wish I had one as I don't particularly like wearing that thing around my neck.
