MRI 3 months Post Surgery
« on: April 23, 2009, 11:50:28 am »
OK I finally got the results of yesterday's MRI (with dye).  ALL CLEAR -- NO SIGN OF ANY RESIDUAL TUMOR OR ANYTHING ELSE SUSPICIOUS!
 ;D

As it happens, when we finished the MRI the Radiologist spooked me when he would not make any comment on the results no matter how hard I tried to pump him. And when I asked for my copy he replied that they would mail it to me because he couldn't give it to me then. All this with a frown and a sympathetic pat on the back.

That was it, I thought I was dead. Finally my Neurologist called at 1pm with the good news. I can go change my underware now.  ::)

Saturday I should be getting my TransEar. Now I can go smiling.

 ;D

Neal -

Congratulations - not only on the clean MRI, but on the TransEar that's on it's way  ;D

Two wonderful events!

Please let us know what you think of the TransEar once you start using it.  It will be very valuable information to newbies - and oldies - alike.

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

Neal ~

I'll give everyone a break and keep this simple...congratulations on the great MRI news!  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Hey I feel like Yogi Bera:

In case you don't know the story--after getting beaned by pitch Yogi was taken to the hospital to be examined. After he was released the press asked how he was. Yogi replied, 'They X-rayed my head and they found nothin'

Hey, they MRIed my head and they found nothin'

 ;)
