Tomorrow is the BIG day!
« on: January 11, 2011, 11:28:36 pm »
After a very long day at HEI, I'm finally home and preparing for surgery tomorrow.  Thank you very much Nancy, for meeting with us today. It was nice to talk to you and find out a little more about what is in store for me.

I'm a little anxious about tomorrow, but will be happy to get this all behind me.  Looking forward to posting from the other side.  ;)

Diagnosed with AN on left side 11/5/10. The
approximate dimensions are 14 mm AP x 18 mm TR x 15 mm CC.
Retrosig surgery w/ Dr. Friedman/Dr. Schwartz at HEI on 1/12/11. Entire tumor removed with no facial weakness.
BAHA surgery 3/29/11

Guess maybe you're already on your way in to surgery...hope it all goes as "routinely" as possible and your recovery is as easy as possible!  Glad you were able to meet with Nancy - she is a true AN angel!

It wouldn't be normal if you weren't anxious! You are in good hands. Good luck to you. Don't get discouraged, recovery takes longer than the doctors tell you! But you will be fine!

I'm playing catch-up here as I haven't had time to read all the messages.  I was glad to hear your surgery went well.  Take time and rest as you recuperate.  Glad to have you on the other side with us.  Thanks to your husband for updating us.  Sandy
