Ok, you're all on steroids.  Now that we have that out of the way, I vote for Dorothy Lane Market.  Because I live in Ohio.

Steve, I don't know how you managed to see it - I knew what it was and still couldn't see it in that tiny pic.

I blew it up a little, then decided which of Pooter's top ten DLM acronyms fit the red lettering:

Steve   ;)
8 mm left AN June 2007,  CK at Stanford Sept 2007.
Hearing lasted a while, but left side is deaf now.
Right side is weak too. Life is quiet.

Moe -

I'm fairly certain that the verdict is already in - and that Steve won.

Kay -

the profile picture was there prior to DLM's surgery.  I remember it, just didn't know what it said.

Jan

Yes, that's really the plot.  I got it straight from IMDB, so it MUST be true.  :)

I guess I should have thought to copy the picture and blow it up to see it better.  It makes more sense with it blown up because I can read it.  Before, all I could read was "Happy Time" written in white letters at the top.  I thought about Dead Like Me that I didn't want to be morbid in the face of what we're dealing with, which isn't deadly unless left untreated for many years.

Oh well..  Guess I'll have to knit Steve a hat..  Now, where did I put that yarn and those instructions again? ;)

Brian
Diagnosed 4/10/08 - 3cm Right AN
12hr retrosig 5/8/08 w/Drs Vrabec and Trask in Houston, Tx
Some facial paralysis post-op but most movement is back, some tinitus.  SSD on right.

Now that is something I'd pay to see  ;)  If you actually follow through with this task, Pooter, I'll make a donation in your honor to the ANA too.

But I want proof that you actually knit it - like pictures taken by Jenni or something.

BTW, what does "IMDB" stand for??

Thanks, Ernie.

Was unaware of that site.  Movies, like TV, aren't really my thing.

I tend to read - or fall victim to my forum addiction  ;)  :D
