Hi Frank ...... I'm also looking forward to trying Oticon's Ponto and/or Ponto Pro when they surface.  Check out:

http://www.baha-users-support.com/ponto.php

Go to the following and download their product brochure.

http://www.oticonmedical.com/oticon_medical/com/aboutoticonmedical/about/downloads/index

The latter site says that Oticon's Ponto is not yet available, but I know that others on this forum (e.g. Jan, Mike) await it's introduction .... and will inform everyone at that time.

Frank -

I don't know where Mike got the pictures of the Ponto, but I do know it's scheduled to make it's debut sometime in October.

My neurotologist said he'd have a demo at that time, so my plan is to try the Ponto and re-try the BP100 (my doc also has a demo) and decide which one I want to upgrade to.

I should note that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my Divino - it's only 14 months old and I adore it - but I'm anxious to have the new features that are on both the BP100 and the Ponto.  Cochlear will be maintaining and supporting the Divino for another 5 years before it is phased out.

The Ponto is Oticon's first entry into the field of BAHA systems - prior to the introduction of the Ponto they only manufacturered conventional hearing aids.

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways
