FYI, phone interview went well from my perspective.  Got a call from my buddy who heard from his boss (the guy I talked to) that it went well also and that I should expect a call to come in for a face to face interview. Not in the bag, but progress to the next round. I was very pleased about that.

Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers. They are appreciated.

Regards,

Brian

Pooter -

I'm glad to hear that you have not one but two job prospects.  In today's world you are a lucky man indeed.

My former boss was terminated a year ago and still hasn't found employment.  He's in a different field than you are, but I know times are tough for lots of people.

Hope everything pans out for you.

Well, it's official.  I've been contacted for a "half day final round of interviews" with the "team in Austin" for the position with the Austin company.  I haven't been told exactly when, but they have my availability.  I guess the phone interview on Friday went about as I had anticipated.

And the merry-go-round continues...

Thanks everyone!

Brian ~

Although a lengthy job interview can be stressful, it can also be highly rewarding.  I'm confident you'll handle it with aplomb and be very successful.  Rock on, waltz off or whatever works best but let us know how it goes.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Liz, yes, this is the last one that I had the phone interview on Friday about.

And, you guys will be happy to know that I've started the ball rolling on scheduling my annual MRI.  I don't have a firm date yet, but it's in the works.  I expect it to happen sometime in the next week or so (pending available times to get me in).  I'll follow up with my surgeon sometime a week or so after the MRI is complete.

And the world keeps spinning...

Thanks again everyone!

Glad to see you're working on scheduling that annual MRI, partly because now I can stop nagging you like you're one of my children  ;)  :D
