A post-surgery picture that my husband took
« on: October 09, 2008, 07:29:23 am »
Hi folks,
I wanted to post this because Brian took it about 2 weeks post-op and he now says it's his favorite picture.  It may have been drugs that caused the dopey smile or the slight facial weakness.  Either way, here it is!

Marci:

Thanks for the picture!  You look quite winsome and not 'dopey' at all.  :)

Jazz,
No, just slight weakness.  My right side was pulling back and my eyebrow was not symmetrical, but it's hardly noticeable.  I still can't whistle--when I can do that I'll know all is well.  And if I can't ever whistle again I guess I'll have to figure out another way to hail a taxi.  :D

Marci,

If this is how you look on a "bad" day, remind me not to stand next to you on a "good" day.

You look great!

I wouldn't even want to stand next to her on a bad day - except that we would have lots of fun whispering - on my left side, of course!!   ;)

Hi Cheri,
Yes, I was definitely holding on to that chair!  I'm glad to see you posting!  Are you in Seton Hall yet?  Or still in the hospital?  How are you feeling?
Best,
