MRI was normal!
« on: February 11, 2009, 11:38:23 am »
Yesterday I had a breast MRI after a delay of a day to find out whether all of the metal in my head is indeed MRI-compatible. The nurse just called me and my results are normal.

So two bits of good news: (1) the magnets did not rip anything through my skull or eyelid and (2) I can rest easy about breast cancer for another year.

Sara:

Congratulations on the good news!  One less thing to be concerned about counts as a 'small victory'.  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
