I'm sorry that this has happened to you and your family.   Life just isn't fair...at least not a 100% of the time.   You're doing the right thing in remembering the good times.

Anne Marie,
I am so sorry for your loss.  My dad died 13 years ago today after a long and painful illness so I know how mixed up one's feelings can be following a time like this--you want them to stay and be with you, yet you want their suffering to end.  I felt such a sense of relief that my dad's struggle was over, yet the pain of not being able to see him was just about unbearable.  Please know we are all here for you.

Blessings to you and your and Danny's family,

Capt Deb

Seeing you write about a 'cigar' made me laugh (one of my brothers is a cigar smoker).   Keep a peaceful heart my friend.

Anne Marie,
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  This has been more than a difficult year for you.  It can only get better now.  I wish you only happy things for the new year.  I know it will take some time to recover from these losses.  Just let yourself grieve when you feel like it.....it's part of the process.
Condolences to you and your family,
~Dale

Ann Marie,

I am so very sorry for your loss.  I lost one of my brothers after a long illness a few a few years ago and can imagine what you are going through.  Please take comfort in knowing that he is at peace and no longer suffering.  You and your family continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hugs,
