Hi,

After 7 months post surgery, I still feel numbness on the head and have to take pain killer twice every day, does anyone have the same symptoms? What suggestion to heal the headache?

thanks in advance.

After my translab, my right ear was numb.  That has gotten much better but when my abutment for my Baha was placed, the top part of my skull is now numb.  Numbskull must be the norm.  I do not have the headaches, however.  I hope you find a solution for that.
translab surgery of 2.6cm neuroma, right side, by Dr. Welling at Ohio State, 6-18-10.  BAHA base placed on same day.  Facial paralysis. Gold weight 7-14-10.

Normal to have numbness, I had it for about a year.
2.5cm x2.0cm cerebellapontine angle meningioma. 100% removal 2/2009. House Ear Institute. Dr Brackmann and Dr. Schwartz. SSD right ear. No balance problems except when really tired, no headaches. Transear hearing aide made no difference, tried it for 4 months.
