Hi All:

Our friend Denise is in surgery right now!!

I talked to her last night -  she was in very good spirits and so anxious for it to be done.

She printed out this thread for her boyfriend to read and his response was:  "WOW.  What nice, caring, thoughtful friends you have on this board."  That is an understatement.

Her boyfriend or sister will call me this afternoon so I will post when I have heard she is in her room.

Hi to all -

I just talked to Denise's sister (Denise is at home and sleeping).......she is pooped out but feeling good.  I asked about her pain and Debbie said Denise rated it at a 3.  How wonderful is that!!

I will post after I see her Sunday or Monday. 

Have a good weekend everyone and thanks for the posts.  I will print and take them to her.  She will be back online herself when she gets to work on 8/13.

Hi -

I just talked to Denise's boyfriend and she is sleeping (I can't seem to call when she is awake).  He said she is doing great and in good spirits.  Her pain was worse yesterday but better today.  She has alot of swelling too which is to be expected.  Thats all I know for now.  I will go see her next weekend if she does not feel up to a visitor tomorrow.
