Sorry to hear that, I've been having a hard time losing weight as well with intense exercise, but I attribute it to the meds...not totally sure though.  Haven not had any hair loss....what meds are you on?  It sounds like you might want to talk to your Dr on this one.
Hang in there, 4 months post op and already maxing out your workouts...how jealous am I.  I was finally able to exercise hard after 18 months and a few nerve blocks.

No hair loss, but have notice that the AN side of head, the hair is flatter, drier then the opposite side..now keeping hair short so that both look even( right side puffier before...looked horribled)...also having hair short, ppl can perceive my BAHA and its a reminder...that 'hey, I"m a survivor'....I wont shy away from questions about it as its a great opportunity to explain ANs

i lost hair, noticed it when i would shampoo.
be at ease ,it will stop.
i was told it was from the anesthesia/steroids wearing off, this takes a few months.
I was under 18 hours + 2 more surgeries and 10 more hours  and i didnt stop hair loss for a good 6 months.

I lost a ton of hair.  I was already losing some because I had a 3 month old baby, but it got HORRIBLE after my 11 hour surgery.  I don't remember when it finally stopped, but it was a few months and my hair was pitiful by then.

My hair dresser informed me that the anesthesia will stay in you hair and can cause it to thin.  We chopped mine so its all new hair now, but it was pathetic looking after the surgery  :(
Trying to grow it out now.  What a pain...

Hair loss?  Nope, other than when they shaved the right side clean as a whistle.  The hair that has grown back has quite a bit more gray, but I don't know if that is due to age, stress from surgery or a little of both.  Everyone's body reacts differently, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that quite a few others have lost hair post-op.
