'SILENCE OF THE LAMBS'

I really do love fava beans.   I remember as a teenager being hospitalized, & my mother asked, "what would you like me to cook for you
when you come home?"
My reply: " fava beans & hamburgers!"   & yes, mom did make them both for me!

I think that's a perfect job for the new boy!  Hey, who we really need on this cruise is Mark Ruffalo since he IS one of us!!!!  Can you work on that one?   ;)

I second or third or whatever the nomination of Sue to fill the Great and Powerful Laz's shoes.  All bow to the land of OZ!

Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!   Hip-hip-hurrah!   Laz, your pen is always welcome here!   ;)

Gennysmom-
By new boy, I'm guessing you are referring to me :D.  Off hand I can't remember the last time I was referred to as a boy -- but I'll take it.  As far as Mark Ruffalo -- I'm working on it.  I worked with Mark briefly on Zodiac several years ago.  At the time I was unaware of his AN surgery and recovery.  If I have luck tracking him down, maybe he'll stop on-board.  My guess is that he's unaware that it's here.  BTW, for those of you who are interested, Mark is one of the nicest and most genuine people you will meet in this business.  There aren't many of them -- but Mark is one.  And so is Anthony Hopkins!

You're a boy!  At least your photo doesn't look girly-girly, so I'm assuming!   ;)  Mark was great in Zodiac.  Had to go see that because of him and I'd read the book (true crime junkie here) when it first came out.  Were you in it?  Let me know, I'll look!   ;D    Mark's been an inspiration as he's visible, and his progression is visible and from what he's talked about, we had similar original outcomes that we've had to come back from.   You can see his before, just after and long after.   A lot of us have similar stories that we talk about, but we don't get to see it....I haven't gotten to know anyone before their treatment, just after.

But enough about that, this is the completely non-serious tale of the PBW, I'm first mate and I have to set an example.....Hey, has anyone noticed Lost is back on????  Deb, have you been hiding out with Sawyer again?   Come on, we agreed to share!!!!!!!!!   :D   Are we off to Alaska to pillage for gold???  I say it's a great idea, a little early tho and I don't want to be cold anymore!   And where's the chocolate?  I neeeeeeed chocolate!

Welcome aboard LADavid! Of course we needs an Entertainment Director! Start reading this thread from about page 15 or so to get a feeling for what we're all about! should only take you about 3 weeks! Brendalu-wnch stayed up all night and did it a year ago. It was alot shorter then. Crazier, too!

And it be SIR Anthony Hopkins pulll-ease! Jeez!

I think we need to get Mark Ruffalo on Oprah during the ANA symposium in Chicago and all get tickets for the show and get her to send us all on a cruise! One o' them cruise ships with real sails!

HELLLOOOOOOOOO!
I have been trying to catch up on all the reading about this cruise...I hope I can jump on board!!  I am a hard worker, fun and most importantly, I have been to a Jimmy Buffett concert (even though I don't really remember it all...) and many Magaritaville Cafes (I married a Parrot Head) -- I think we have the only young ones that LOVE his music -- our oldest has his (SELECT) songs on her ipod!!
Let me know if I can join in!!!

You are right about the Sir part.  But Sir Anthony insists on being called Tony.  It took me quite a long time before I was able to call him anything but "Sir."

And speaking of Sir Tony. Hope this link works

Working on Sir Tony's movie Slipstream in the middle of nowhere in the California high desert.  I'm thinking that the movie will be out on DVD soon.  If you like strange movies -- this is definitely a strange one.

I'll bet you could pull off the pirate thing though!
