Send good vibes: surgery Tues am!

I just wanted to thank everyone here in ANA Forums, whose posts and responses have given me so much great information and hope. This short note is to say I have a surgery time... Well, a check-in time, of 5:45am, May 13. The nurse said surgery should start by 8am, and in recovery by noon, if all goes well... and why shouldn't it, right?

But I'd also be grateful for any good vibes y'all can send my way: I expect to be several pounds short of confidence and bravery tomorrow morning!

Middle Fossa surgery at Swedish, Seattle, Drs Delashaw and Bacchus, 5/5/14. Retained 98% hearing in surgical ear after 6 months recovery time.
diagnosed 3/15/14 :: 6mm x 4mm x 3mm AN in right ear.
mother diagnosed 3/2005 8mm; gamma knife 2007 at 14mm. some regrowth, pressing balance nerve, by 2012

Appt. With Dr. Parnes at Univ. Hosp. Feb. 5, 2014. Consult with Dr. Akagami May 2. Surgery is Sept. 2014 in Vancouver BC. I'm pumped!

Laura, I will sure be sending good thoughts for you tomorrow. Will be awaiting your post in a few days when you are home.  Dr Delashaw will take good care of you. You are almost done!

post-op had some facial nerve weakness, nearly resolved. Mild tinnitus. Left sided deafness.

Hi Laura,  I was to late to wish you well before surgery.  Hope you're doing ok after surgery.  Looking forward to reading your first post, post AN!  Jill Marie :)
