Steve

Congratulations on another clean MRI -- sorry your hearing levels have gone down a bit though.  Since speech discrimination has returned to pre-treatmen levelss,  does cranking up the hearing aid help?  I hope so.

Best wishes,
Wendy

GREAT news Steve!  Another successful radio treatment... love to hear it!  So, if I talk, you will say you can't hear me as well?  You know the jibber-jabber I do... so, you can just claim hearing deficit, much like my bloke does ;) :)  Seriously, congrats! :) Truly!

As for the rest noted on this week's list...... wellness wishes to all having treatments this week.. congrats to all those achieving onward and upward and great "feets" that I certainly could not do! :)  And most of all.... be well all!

Now this week is definitely a caddy wampus one too!

Safe surgery/happy birthday/congratulations/good luck/happy running/happy St. Patrick's Day and a "give 'em heck" Seal!!!  I hope that covers everything.

Seal, good luck on the bagpipe lessons!  I had a friend who was taking lessons last year - she had to stop because she lived in an apartment building and the neighbors thought she was torturing her cat!   :D

Keri, I think it's awesome that you are even attempting to do a half-marathon only 2 months after AN surgery. You're an inspiration.  I know about the signing up for something as motivation...I do the same. Good luck

I just purchased electronic bagpipes for my son so he can practice in Edinburgh (where he attends Uni) without driving his flatmates out.  These use headphones, so no one hears the sound but the piper.
And Seal, I feel terrible about what you're going through.  Why can't we just have global health care coverage?!

Steve:

Congratulations on another 'unremarkable' MRI.  Although we're all unique, sometimes it's good to be 'unremarkable'.  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

and Steve, in response to your post, the next time I sit in the MRI tube o' gloom for 45 minutes, you'll then run the half marathon? We'll switch off!

Glad you're results were unremarkable.  Thank you for all the help you are for all the people here on this forum!

Another moniker for Steve--"Unremarkable Steve!" I hope the Irish bloke didn't spill any beer on the Tube controls and fry any of the gizmos, causing you to have to spend any more time in there!  Frightful! Yikes!

Run like the wind, Keri, run like the wind...............

A pox on United Healthcare, them scurvey sons o' bilge rat's arse warts!!

Hugs to all,

Hmmm.. for some reason I seem to think Brian is more of a tiara-wearing guy!  Maybe Steve could knit a hat and sew in some rhinestones!
