Good News

  I went for my yearly MRI 2 wks ago  had  Gamma Knife last yr around this time . I asked for the report  becouse I dont go to see the doc till Sept.  but it says that the AN  has shrunk some  this is awsome I have been praying for this for a couple of yrs . I did loss most my hearing  on that side but I can accept that. I hope it keeps shrinking  I will keep everyone posted... Have a Good Day.

Read about your "good news" and want to say how happy I am for you!  Congratulations and may you have continued shrinkage.

Good news is always great.  Hoping for a smaller tumor after the next MRI.

Had Translab surgery on June 30th, released from hospital 48 hours after completion of 5 hours of surgery
BAHA abutment surgery on Oct. 31st, received processor on Dec. 4th

That's great news.  Keep shrinking!  I just finished CK and hope mine will do the same.

Good news, indeed!  Post-radiation tumor shrinkage is always a positive sign that the GK 'worked'.  I hope and will pray that shrinkage (and ultimately, necrosis) continue apace.  :)  Meanwhile, congratulations!

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

8 mm left AN June 2007,  CK at Stanford Sept 2007.
Hearing lasted a while, but left side is deaf now.
Right side is weak too. Life is quiet.
